And once again the Vienna’s English Theatre captivated the 4th, 5th and 6th forms today with a dynamic stage performance of the play “Roxie and Cy”. The actors did not only deliver compelling portrayals, but they also kept the atmosphere on stage lively and engaging.
The storyline (a teenage girl falls in love with “the popular guy”, and thus, doesn’t notice that real love would be so close…) resonated with our students and sparked their interest throughout the production.
However, emotions took a poignant turn as the play concluded with a somber ending, leaving a lasting impact on the audience.
The combination of skillful acting, the openness and friendliness of the actors towards our students, and a touch of melancholy at the end of the play, made this year’s performance a memorable experience for everyone in attendance.
We are already looking forward to next year’s performance.
